Lifeguard Course

Cost $100 - per student
No Phone Registrations will be accepted.

HOW TO REGISTER:
Go to Clinton Community Center - Main office; register and pay the  $36 - nonrefundable book fee.

Go to Pre- Requisite Testing held at indoor pool; call for times, after passing the pre-test you must pay the remaining $64.

Minimum requirements - Age 15 or older to be enrolled in course.
    a. Attend all class sessions.
    b. Pass all written and physical test requirements including pretest.

Pre-Requisites Testing @ CCC - Indoor Pool. Dates March 11th & 15th 6pm
a. Swim 300 yards continuously, using front crawl and breast stroke including proper form and breathing.
    *100 yards Front crawl, 100 Yards Breaststroke, 100 Yards choice between front crawl and breast stroke
b. starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return
    to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within                
    1 minute, 40 seconds.

Course Outline - Be prepared for water or land classes each time we meet.

The Class will be split between online, classroom, and pool side learning

Class Dates: Four day course March 18th through 21st
March 18th 1:30pm to 6:30pm
March 19th 9am to 6:30pm
March 20th 9am to 6:30pm
March 21st 1:30pm to 6:30pm
