New message from Waste Connections:
"We strive to assure the complete safety of our employees, our customers, and the public in all our operations. Protection from accident or injury is paramount to all we do.
Due to Friday’s snowy weather conditions, and the freezing temperatures expected throughout the weekend, our Friday customers will experience a delay in service. To help minimize service disruptions next week, we are planning to run our waste collection routes in regular Monday – Friday order. Friday customers, whose service was disrupted because of snow, are advised to place extra bagged trash or recycling out on their next scheduled service day. We apologize for the inconvenience and stay tuned for updates!"
Waste Connections Trash Collection Update
For the safety of the team and community, Waste Connections will not be running routes tomorrow, Friday January 10th. You can expect our services to resume on Monday January 13th. With this being said, Friday's routes will be picked up on Monday, all other customers will be running on a one delay and we will be running through Saturday to ensure every resident is serviced next week.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The City of Clinton’s K9 Officer Howell and his incredible partner Tonto had the honor of visiting Clinton High School today to give two exciting demonstrations to the school’s Criminal Justice classes. The students got a firsthand look at the vital work that K9 units do every day, from detecting drugs to providing support in law enforcement operations.
These demos were not only an opportunity to showcase Tonto’s impressive skills, but also a chance to highlight the important partnership between law enforcement and the community. Officer Howell and Tonto are an invaluable part of our city, and we are grateful for their dedication and service!
Thank you to Clinton High School for hosting this educational event and helping to inspire the next generation of law enforcement professionals
