On February 27, 2024 Clinton E-911 dispatch supervisor, Amie Jones, received a call from a citizen in regards to his wife having a seizure and being in respiratory distress. The caller advised his wife had stopped breathing and needed medical help. Dispatcher Jones immediately dispatched emergency workers to the address and guided the caller in conducting CPR until help arrived. Sergeant Larry Smith was the first responder on-scene and immediately took over CPR for the caller. Sergeant Smith continued CPR until Anderson County Emergency Medical Service arrived.
