The Clinton Police Department recognizes Officer Kris Miville for the outstanding job he has done as a school resource officer for Clinton City Schools! Officer Miville obtained his L.E.A.D. instructor certification last year and has helped to implement the program in each of the three city elementary schools. Today Officer Miville graduated 102 students from the program who now have a better understanding on making good choices and how to be positive members of their community. We also want to commend Clinton City Schools on the partnership we are blessed to have. This partnership not only enhances school security, but enriches the lives of our children through incredible programs such as L.E.A.D.!

Leading causes of work zone crashes are distractions, following too closely, and driving too fast. When passing a work zone close to the road, slow down to keep them safe! #NWZAW

In 2023, 1 out of 9 crashes on Tennessee roadways involved a distracted driver. While various factors contribute, phone use stands out as the most preventable cause. 📵 Prioritize safety: set your GPS beforehand and activate 'Do Not Disturb' mode to keep your eyes where they belong.

We at the Police Department want to commend our outstanding community members for their support! We recently posted a request to help identify two suspects in a theft from a local business and the response has been fantastic! You have called, emailed, and showed up in person to assist in solving crime in your city. This type of mutual cooperation and partnership with our community is what makes Clinton such a great place to live, work, shop, and play!
We are asking once again for your help in identifying two suspects who have no respect for other people's property. On 04/15/24 the two suspects pictured stole a X-Pro 125cc dirt bike (blue in color) from the front yard of a residence on Edgewood Circle. The suspects then left the area in a Chevy Equinox. If you have any information at all on the identity of either suspect please contact the police department at 865-457-3112 or email Officer Padilla (bpadilla@clintontn.net). Again, Thank You for taking an active role in the safety and security of your city!
